Personal TrainerPersonal experience
Daniel is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist. He also serves as an assistant coach for Rock Steady Boxing.
Daniel helps clients achieve their fitness goals through solid technique and evidence-based principles. A lifelong hiker and cross-country skier, he discovered his passion for outdoor exercise during childhood trips to the Adirondacks. Alongside his athletic pursuits, he earned a Bachelor of Music in classical guitar performance from the Manhattan School of Music. During college summers, he indulged his love for the outdoors by working as a whitewater rafting guide on the Upper Hudson Gorge.
After college, Daniel’s thirst for adventure took him to Nepal, where he spent nearly a decade trekking in the foothills of the Himalayas, performing music, and founding a nonprofit organization to promote music education.
However, there came a time when he neglected his physical health and fell out of shape. In 2019, Daniel made a pivotal change by embracing functional strength training and conditioning, returning to running and hiking, and successfully completing five marathons. He draws on this journey to motivate and challenge his clients, all while maintaining empathy and compassion for each individual’s unique fitness path.
