Nina

Owner Operator

Bedford Hills resident and mother of three, Nina Preizler turned her lifelong commitment to health and fitness into a profession after she won her battle against Breast Cancer. Now she’s working to shape healthier bodies and happier minds as owner and operator of Lexington Avenue Gym. With over 20 years of fitness experience, including 4 years as an NCAA Track & Cross Country Athlete at SUNY Stony Brook, 10 years spent teaching in New York City and Westchester, and a Masters Degree in Bilingual and ESL Education, Nina brings a unique passion and energy in to helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Scott

Personal Training and Cardiovascular Conditioning

As current owner and director of Westchester Total Health in Mount Kisco Dr. Scott Schaeffer trains clients from all fitness levels: athletes, enthusiasts and novices. Dr. Schaeffer tailors his workouts on a foundation of proper biomechanics, proven strength protocols and challenging cardiovascular methods. He consistently implements corrective exercises within each session to ensure injury prevention. Additionally, Dr. Schaeffer has a strong background with post-rehab clients looking to transition back into a more demanding exercise program. Dr. Schaeffer’s thorough knowledge of human anatomy and physiology began in 1991 at California State University, San Luis Obispo where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He then went on to begin his graduate studies at Cleveland Chiropractic College Los Angeles (CCC-LA) where he earned his Chiropractic doctoral degree in 1996. Dr. Schaeffer also holds the fitness industry’s highly respected Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification (CSCS) while maintaining the current CPR/AED requirements.

Bob

Personal Training, Boxing, Kickboxing, Combat & CrossFit

Bob Skillman has over 40 years of experience as a teacher, coach and trainer. Bob is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer and as a Sports Performance Enhancement Specialist. Bob is also a Crossfit trainer. He is currently studying for his certification in Holistic Nutrition. Bob also holds Black Belts in Judo and Karate, is certified to teach Israeli hand to hand combat and competed as an amateur boxer with a record of 20 wins and 4 losses. He has worked with military and law enforcement personnel teaching hand to hand combat and weapons defense. Bob takes all this experience to provide very effective training programs, individualized for each client keeping workouts interesting and challenging, always changing it up and keeping it fresh.

Percy

Personal Training, Boxing and Martial Arts

Certified in personal training with an emphasis on Conditioning and Nutrition, Mount Kisco Native and fourth-degree black belt Percy Thomas has dedicated the past 20 years to becoming an expert in Kung Fu, Kali, Capoeira, and Kickboxing. With his bountiful knowledge of Martial Arts, Percy creates innovative workouts for all of his clients.

Mark

Boxing

Think 30 years of Professional Boxing experience is impressive? Just wait til you see what he does with a jump rope. Mark was a Golden Gloves and Spanish Gloves finalist and sparring partner for 7 World Champions. Mark had a 20-3 record as a professional including 2 main events at Madison Square Garden and six at Atlantic City. Mark McPherson will box you into the best shape of your life.

Jay

Functional Training, Kettlebell Specialist, Mobility

Jay, an inspirational Type 1 diabetic, specializes in all facets of fitness. From gymnastics/calisthenics, powerlifting, kettlebells, and stretching/mobility, Jay does it all. He designs his workouts specifically for each individual client to deliver the best results possible. In his competitive days, he regularly showed strong placements in events such as CrossFit Competitions, Triathlons, and the NY City Marathon. While he is a specialist in “body weight/gymnastic” type of exercise, he designs his workouts specifically for clients goals & objectives which can include lifting and aerobic type of exercises as well. Jay also has experience as a competitive Muay Thai Kickboxer and will incorporate boxing or kickboxing into his workouts for those who are interested. On a personal level, Jay has inspired hundreds of thousands of people with his personal story. He openly shares about his transformation from drugs and alcohol to a clean living fitness influencer. He has over 315k  followers on his @jtm_fit Instagram page and has had multiple features in Men’s Health Magazine.

Kris

Personal Training, Kickboxing

Kris Geier has a degree in Exercise Science from San Francisco State University and is a certified Exercise Physiologist from The American College of Sports Medicine. For close to twenty years years, he has trained hundreds of clients of all ages and abilities, working on everything from stability, weight management as well as strength and conditioning for various sports. He is a certified Rocksteady Boxing Coach. Along with Rocksteady groups, he has taught classes such as boot camps, kickboxing and spin. Kris a practitioner of Chinese martial arts and a former triathlete/marathon runner. He has competed in over 30 races of all kinds. He is an avid outdoorsman who ski’s, snowboards, mountain bike’s and enjoys long hiking treks with his wife and two sons.

John

6 years ago, John transitioned from a desk job to the fitness world and has been a Certified Personal Trainer based in Westchester ever since. As a NASM Personal Trainer and Precision Nutrition Coach, he custom-designs programs for each of his clients while helping them shape lifestyle habits that support their goals.

His approach in fitness is to bridge the gap from short-term wins to meaningful results, by developing sustainable habits. While he has depths of experience with a variety of clientele, the base of his clientele are looking to transform their body and stay injury free.

Katy

Katy is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer. She is also a RYT 200 Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor. Before becoming a personal trainer, Katy graduated from Mercy College with a marketing degree. Katy has always been a fitness enthusiast. She has ran two half marathons and competed in national cheerleading championships. Her career path soon changed when she realized her passion for athletic performance was the right fit. Katy believes that each exercise program should be customized to the individual’s needs. She emphasizes functional strength, mobility, stability, balance, and flexibility to guide her clients toward their goals. Katy enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys fishing and hiking with her 180 lb Great Dane.
